Warm clothing is always in short supply.
What is needed is Good Clothing;
please don't send items that belong in a rag box.
Helping is one thing; getting rid of trash doesn't send a message
of hope or caring. Ties, ruined shoes, stained clothing
are not needed.
If you won't wear it, don't send it.
We've seen truck
loads of clothing sent
that were rags and actually someone's tax write off.
There were hundreds of ties, single shoes, worn out
shoes, polyester clothing from the 60's, and worn out
clothing.
That doesn't speak well of the folks that sent their
trash out for someone else to have to haul to the dump.
So if you're really wanting to help, please do, but
consider the dignity of those you are giving to.
If you'd like to send clothing
out for Christmas 2006 please contact us by email and we'll provide
you with an address where a Trucking Company
CCX/Conway Trucking is donating a run for Christmas, help us
fill a load!
